I was told that something existed inside my brain.

It was unknown to all mankind and humans were enlightened of this existing organ. Once realized I was able develop and control it. Doctors call it ________. It gives me the ability to turn on and turn off my eyes and ears. In in another way it is a tape recorder; saving in vivid high def everything you see with precise ability to recall. It is also picture book of everything that you had encountered. You could recall text and restudy anything that you read, you could relive those last times with your loved ones. Once in your "compartment" you could stop time inside but you have to remember to nourish your body (the outside). The possibilities are almost endless and endless is the downfall to it all. For you can get trapped inside and get stuck in memories, that is hanging on too much to the past and thus killing your future.

And as it is, some people are content with this. They choose death. They can't find the reason to look to the sky and wander. They had what they had and want no more. But therein somewhere in their memories they can realize what it was once like to be excited with inspiration; to not wait for the day but to capture it and bend it.

This newly found organ could transform us into machines or provide a fuel for our own research into the unknown.

It is our back door into our own supercomputer.
