Half of me is content to say in and the other half angry at the self contented person who stays in when they could be enjoying this beautiful day outside. I said, "The screen is like a doorway."
It's not the television. It's the world wide web, the information superhighway. I've been captivated with this way of information delivery since I was a teenager.
But as I've said to myself over and over throughout the years, "Get Outside!" And so I sit here still captivated that I can listen to one thing, passively watch a sport and attempt to focus on what I want - am I missing the whole point?
